Reviews

We really enjoyed staying at James's Cottage - so close to the supermarkets and town. The accommodation has been very tastefully done and we really hope to return in the next year. We had a fantastic time. Thank you

SUSIE - MAR 2017

A lovely clean cottage, very well situated for Keswick town, well equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful bathrooms, newly fitted to a very high standard. One of the nicest places we have stayed. Parking permit is a bonus.

Great location, very clean, modern, good refurb after 2015 floods. Car parking just over the road is great.

Keswick’s bustling town center is just minutes from James’s Cottage. The nearby Bank Tavern and Pack Horse Inn provide great food and there are shops and general amenities within easy reach.

To see the beautiful sights of Keswick you don’t need to go far. 4000-year old Castlerigg Stone Circle is just a short distance away and beautiful Derwentwater is just to the south of Keswick. See the best of the Northern Lakes on foot or on a bicycle, with plenty of picturesque routes however you choose to travel. The highest peak in the area, Skiddaw, is a challenge for adventurers with gentler strolls around Buttermere, and the Catbells Lakeland Walk, wonderful for visitors of all standards. As you can take your pet along to James’s Cottage, don’t miss out on the many dog-friendly walks in the area too.
